Has it been that long?

It seems like just yesterday that I posted something to this thing.

But man how 542 days fly by when you aren't looking.

The only reason I'm coming out of blog retirement is to announce a bit of a social experiment I am doing.

Basically, I'm testing PT Barnum's theory.

The site consists of begging for money $1 at a time to pay down my mortgage principal that much quicker.

Back in the Day.

So it seems I haven't posted anything for quite a while. Getting married and buying a house, moving and selling a condo filled up my schedule like marshmallows in my mouth during a game of chubby bunny.

And as a result, my 'blog' has suffered 6 months of neglect. C'mon, six months? That's nothing, its a hockey season. And I failed in my effort to come up with a random post involving the month name for a solid year. Sad, I had some good ideas for January, but the rest of them, would have been pulled out of my butt, as per usual.

I might post something on this again, I might not. I am not even sure anyone still reads this. If you are out there, props to you for still checking after 6+ months.

This month, I present to you Rick Dees. I don't know much about the man except that he hosts a top 40 radio show. I'm sure there was something other pertinent in his past that I am glossing over to bring you Deesmember.

I also present to you a fun little Fan Club member badge that I had to whip up in photoshop for this occaision. Its supposed to look like a embroidered patch. It doesn't so much accomplish that, but I wanted to post this before the blog fuhrer got a chance to say anything.

You know what's crazy? This month has come and gone. As has the rest of the stinkin' year.

I could have carried a child to term in the time that has passed thus far this year. Or something.

Its also too bad all the energy conservation shown in August's picture is out the window with the pile of wood in this month's post.
